It is possible to send documents within MICE to, for example, employees or suppliers. But how do you create and send such a document within MICE?
Sending a document
Step 1: Click on 'planning' in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Click on the event from which you want to send an event
Step 3: Click on 'documents' at the top of the menu bar
Step 4: Next, for documents, click on 'new document' or on the document you want to send (if you already have an existing document, go to step 7).
Step 5: Select the template for the document. (You can create these at setup>templates>documents).
Step 6: Click on 'save and edit'.
Step 7: Check to make sure that all data is correct and edit if necessary.
Step 8: Save it
Step 9: Scroll back to the top and click 'send'.
Step 10: Select the correct client and press 'send'.
Share document link
Just like quotes, documents can now be shared with a (shareable) document link. You can add the document link as a variable to a document message template so the recipient can easily share the link.
After the document is sent, a public link is created and available to share. You can find the link at the top right of the screen after opening the document.
