It is possible to preselect options in the request for proposal widget. This is helpful when, for example, you are presenting a certain location or package on your website and you want this option to be preselected so clients do not have to select the option themselves.

Pay attention! Make sure the specific location or package is available/offered in the request for proposal widget.

To setup the preselection, you need to add a line of information (shown below) behind the URL link of the request for proposal widget.

Preselection of a location:

?location_id={id code of location}

Preselection of a package:
?package_id={id code of package}

As you can see, you need to add the 'ID code' of a location or package. You can find this ID code by going to setup > locations or packages. Hover your mouse pointer over a specific location or package. A bar appears at the bottom left of your screen. This is where you can find the 'ID code'.

Location 'ID code' in the example below = 2252

Package 'ID code' in the example below = 33

Add this code to the line of information that was shown earlier in this document, and insert the request for proposal widget's URL link before the line of information.
