Can I turn off/deactivate packages?

It is not so much possible to turn off or deactivate an arrangement. However, there is a way to set that packages are available to staff in the back office, but not available in the request widget. We explain this below.

Set internal event type

In the setup environment, create a new event type, for example with the name ‘internal’. While creating, you can set that the event type is not available in the request widget (as shown in the image below).

Linking packages to internal event type

After an internal event type has been created in your system, you can link packages to it. You do this via ‘packages’ in the setup environment. Open a package and scroll down to the option ‘available for event types’ and select the internal event type here. Do not forget to save the changes.

The package is now not available in the request widget, but can be used by staff in the back office.
