There are days when your company is closed, thus not available for events. Within MICE, it is easy to block off these days for requests. This ensures that clients cannot place a request for this day via the request module.

Pay attention! The day is only blocked for clients. Your planners can still create an event on this day.

Tip: We recommend to limit blocking days to a minimum. You will lose conversion due to the client not turning in a request while there may be suitable alternatives.

How to block off days?

This can be done via the list view, calendar view and occupancy view.

Via the list view

Step 1: Click on events in the navigation bar

Step 2: Click on the list view (see image below)

Step 3: Go to the day you want to block for requests

Step 4: Click on the 3 dots '...' en choose 'block for requests' (as shown in image below).

Step 5: The day is now blocked in the request module

Via the calendar view

Step 1: Click on events at the top of the menu bar.

Step 2: Click on the agenda view (see image below)

Step 3: Put the calendar in monthly view for convenience (see image below)

Step 4: Hover your mouse over the day you want to block for requests

Step 5: Then click on the "Block for requests" button that appears at the bottom right of the box (the button looks like a crossed box).

Step 6: The day is blocked and will not be shown in the request module

Via the occupancy view

Step 1: Click on events at the top of the menu bar.

Step 2: Click on the occupancy view (see image below)

Step 3: Put the calendar in monthly view for convenience (see image below)

Step 4: Hover your mouse over the day you want to block for requests
