You can try out the request widget yourself by copying and pasting the widget link into your browser's address bar. It is also possible to actually submit a request. Handy to discover how requests are processed in your system!

The widget link can be found in the request module settings in the setup environment (setup > widgets).

Click on the "clipboard" icon to the right of the widget link to copy the link.

In the request widget settings in the setup environment, you will see a preview of the widget. This tool shows how information is presented to the client. The preview option is a valuable tool to ensure that information is displayed correctly and clearly on different devices such as smartphones and laptops.

By using the Preview feature, you can check the layout, formatting and completeness of the data.

Why do I not see changes immediately in the request widget?

You must first refresh the screen of the request widget after which the new settings will be visible. Often, going back one step in the application process also works.
