You can try out the request widget yourself by copying and pasting the widget link into your browser's address bar. It is also possible to actually submit a request. Handy to discover how requests are processed in your system!

The widget link can be found in the request module settings in the setup environment (setup > widgets).

Click on the "clipboard" icon to the right of the widget link to copy the link.

Paste the link your browser's address bar and visit the page.

In the request widget settings within the setup environment, a preview of the widget is displayed. This allows you to see exactly how the information will appear to the client. The preview is a valuable tool for ensuring that content is presented clearly and correctly across different devices, such as smartphones and laptops.

By using the Preview feature, you can check the layout, formatting, and completeness of the data – especially useful after adjusting the settings of the widget.

Switch between mobile and desktop view as needed using the buttons below the preview.

Why don't I see changes immediately in the request widget?

You need to refresh the page for the new settings to appear in the widget. Often, navigating one step back in the application process can also help update the view.
