Why is my event not visible?

You have created an event but it is not visible in the events planning. How is this possible? Below you can find several potential causes.

Event without a date

It is possible to create an event without immediately having to set a date. The planning view shows events that are scheduled. An event without a date is not yet schedules. Such events can be found at the 'Unscheduled' tab.

Events from request widget

After a request is submitted via the request widget, an event is created automatically. You can find such events at the 'Requests' tab.

Filters

In most cases, events are not visible due to certain settings of the planning's applicable filters. This concerns the following filters:

  • Location filter

  • Event type filter

  • Event status filter

  • Filter per client

  • Filter per contact person

  • Filter per supplier

  • Date range filter

Location filter

A certain location may be selected so that only events linked to this location are now visible in the events planning. It is, of course, possible to create an event without having to immediately link this event to a location. Therefore, the system does not recognize in which room the event will take place. So make sure to assign your newly created event to a location.

Event type filter

Events can also be conveniently filtered based on event types (wedding, meeting, etc.). This filter may be set incorrectly, causing different event types to be shown in the events planning.

Event status filter and filter per client, contact person or supplier

You can find a filter icon above the events that are visible in the events planning. With this filter, you can filter on both event statuses (optional, confirmed, etc.) as well as per client, contact person or supplier. Possibly, the (de)selected filters are set incorrectly.

Date range filter

The date range filter ensures that the events shown in the events planning fall within a certain date range. Make sure you select the correct date range so that the event in question falls within this date range.

First, you click on the start date of the date series. After that, click on the desired closing date of the date range.
