Set up a package
Single products
Add single products if you would like to add products that are not linked to an activity but to the full day (e.g. room rental or a beamer). Up-sells/suggestions that are presented to clients as suggestions can also be added here.
Activities
Below the package name and descriptions, you can set up the package content. Here, you create the programme (schedule) of the package by adding activities.
An activity is a part of an event, such as a guest arrival, coffee break, lunch, or meeting moment. For each activity, you can set the start and end time and add products that are consumed/used during the activity.
The location and number of guests for the activity cannot be set in a package yet. These settings will be available in an event.
Click on the button "+ add activity" to create a new activity.
Example activity:
Products
The activity can now be filled with products that will be consumed/used during the activity. It is also possible to add product suggestions (for upselling), these products - if set - are offered as suggestions to clients in the request for proposal tool or in an interactive quote.
Product price included / excluded
When a product is added to a package (to an activity or as single product), the button below is displayed.
If the included/excluded button is shown green (included), the product price is in included in the package price. If you deactivate the button (excluded), the product price will be added on top of the package price (examples of this are room rental or other facilities or products that are obligatory to purchase or rent).
Product suggestions
You can also add product suggestions (upsells), which - if enabled - are presented as recommendations to clients in the request for proposal tool or in an interactive quote.
Package price
Under the package's schedule, you can set a price for the package. You can also add multiple prices if you want to split VAT.
The arrangement price can also be set to β¬0,- if you prefer to manage prices at product level within the package (with non-included products).
π Tip: Want more insight into product-level revenue in reports? Set prices at product level instead of using a single general package price. Set the package price to β¬0 and mark products as non-included. This way, your reports will show revenue per product and give you a clear view of what sells best.
Available for event types
Select the event types that are suitable for the package. Don't select an event type if this package is available for all event types.
Available for locations
Select the locations that are suitable for the package. You can indicate the costs for each location in combination with the package (this can be done at setup > locations). Don't select any locations to make this package available for all locations.
Available for group size
If the package is only suitable for a certain number of guests, set a minimum and maximum number of guests. Subsequently, if the number of guests during a request varies, the package will not be shown. This setup is useful if the price structure of your packages depends on the number of guests.
π Tip: We recommend to always have a package available for any group size, so you can be sure something is offered to the client in the request for proposal widget.
Fixed package price
Deactivate the option 'the price of this package is not linked to the number of guests' to set a fixed package price instead of a price per person.
