Reservation details

Can I add information to a reservation in Zenchef without it disappearing?

Yes, you can. In the reservation details, you can add information above or below the existing data (see the image below) without it being removed or overwritten during the next synchronisation. Make sure to place your text above or below the wavy lines: โ€‹~~~~[MICE Operations]~~~~


Synchronisation & data being synchronised

Will a reservation still be synchronised if the number of guests exceeds the capacity of the area?

Yes, reservations are always synchronised, even if the area does not have enough capacity. This ensures that no reservations are ever missed in Zenchef.

Can an entire area be blocked for each reservation?

Yes, we can set this up for you. Please send us a message via the chat.

Can I link table numbers to MICE spaces?

No, it is only possible to link a Zenchef area to a MICE space, not to specific tables in the area.

Can attachments be automatically added in Zenchef?

No, attachments are not supported, so we cannot automatically add documents.

Can the names of spaces and areas still be changed after linking?

Yes, they can. We initially need the exact names of spaces and areas so they can be correctly linked. Once the integration is active, the names of spaces and areas can be freely updated.
