To ensure that the integration can synchronize activities from MICE to the correct rooms/spaces (zones) in Guestplan, it is important that the steps below are completed.
To activate the integration, the following steps must be completed:
1. Activate the MICE Operations app in Guestplan
In your Guestplan account, go to "Apps".
Find the MICE Operations app.
Click on "Install".
You will receive an email from MICE Operations regarding the activation of your integration. One of our support staff members will contact you to complete the configuration.
The integration is active and your future bookings will be added. đ„ł
2. Sharing the API key and an overview of spaces and rooms to be linked
We link the (MICE) spaces to rooms (from Guestplan) during the activation of the integration. For this, we require two things from you: an API key (2a) and an overview of spaces and rooms to be linked (2b).
2a. Creating and sharing an API Key
In order to retrieve and link spaces, the MICE team requires an API key. You can create this yourself in MICE.
2b. Sharing the overview of spaces and rooms
We require an overview in which you indicate per space which room it must be linked to. It is important that you use the current names from both accounts for this.
We prefer to receive the overview via the in-system chat, or by email to support@miceoperations.com.
Not every space from MICE needs to be linked.
It is possible to link multiple MICE spaces to a single room from Guestplan. It is not possible to link one MICE space to multiple rooms from Guestplan. Example:
â Link Space A to Room 1.
â Link Space A and Space B to Room 1.
â Link Space A to Room 1 and Room 2.

3. Checking the configuration
To ensure that the integration functions optimally and the spaces in MICE can be correctly linked to the rooms in Guestplan, we perform an automated check of your configuration. If everything is in order, your integration is ready for activation.
4. The integration is activated đ
Everything is in order and the integration can start running. We will let you know when the integration is activated and your future events will be synchronized with Guestplan. After the initial synchronization, only changes will be processed.
